The best time to visit Namibia is during the dry season from May to October. Wildlife viewing is excellent at this time, especially in Etosha National Park. The weather is pleasant with cool nights and warm days, perfect for desert exploration.

Citizens of most countries receive visa-free entry for tourism stays up to 90 days, including USA, UK, EU, and most Commonwealth countries. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from entry date with at least 2 blank pages.

Namibia uses the Namibian Dollar (NAD), which is pegged 1:1 to the South African Rand (ZAR). Both currencies are accepted throughout Namibia. Credit cards are widely accepted in cities and tourist areas, but carry cash for remote areas and small vendors.

Namibia is generally very safe for tourists with low crime rates and friendly locals. The country has excellent tourism infrastructure and well-maintained roads. Exercise normal precautions in cities and always follow safety guidelines during wildlife encounters.
